Expensive but Worth a Try 2012-02-08
This is a small place in a nice lane of indiranagar. it will be a little difficult to find if u don't keep a watch for the sign board. even the sign board in white can easily be missed :) .
This place has some "awesome" chocolate pies ,pastries . Loved it.
Creamy Oreo Cheese Cake and the Chocolate Mud Pie are the best .it will melt in your mouth.
All the pastries are freshly made but has huge calorific values .be warned.
Pizzas & sandwiches are OK type. too expensive.
i will suggest just go to the counter order the pastries which looks good & try it. -

You almost feel yourself putting on weight while u pay the heafty bill !!
A nice place to visit when your feeling blue and u need some yummy food therapy to cheer you up!!
Would say this is my 2nd-most fav dessert place in Bangalore, besides Cafe Noir of course. -

Extreme Oreo Pie! 2011-07-26
This place has a very laid back atmosphere where you can thoroughly enjoy the mouth watering pastries and brownies. I strongly recommend the extreme oreo pie and the mississippi mud pie! Both are puree bliss and to die for! having a bad day and looking for comfort food? be sure to head to spoonful of sugar cause it leaves you with a heart full of happiness! Love the place and anyone who visits will have a similar experience i'm sure. The prices might hurt a bit but its totally worth every penny! -

My Awesome Birthday Cake 2011-06-09
This is my second review for SOS on burrp. And true to their acronym, after eating their cake you'll make a small trip to heaven and back. For my birthday this time my husband ordered the Raspberry and Irish Cream Gateaux, which wins the race of all cakes in the running by probably a continent. 2.5 kilos of this vanished in exactly 5 minutes after I cut it. I say no birthday is perfect without the perfect cake and what do you know. It was burrp that dragged us to this place and mind you it was some distance that we had to travel....
The place was hard to locate since we were not very familiar with the area but eventually did manage to get there in one piece. Now we had skipped dessert at the previous place to come to this place so the expectations were pretty high !!!
One of my friends ordered a cheesecake, the other a chocolate pastry (I forget the name). I went for the 'famous' mud pie.

This place sure has some delectable looking pastries, and they taste quite nice too. But I don’t think they are exceptional, especially not worth the price.
They also dish out quiches, tarts and a few more savory bites too. We didn’t really have the time to eat, so we asked for a few pastries and a vegetable lasagna to be packed.
The service is poor, they take way too long to parcel your food and even longer to give you the bill. My mom is strictly vegetarian and so I asked a few questions about the lasagna, to my surprise and the owner kept rolling her eyes and making faces. Not enough... read more -

Oh God, why is that everything that I like either immoral, illegal or fattening...
Spoonful of Sugar whole heartedly contributes to the last piece of the above lament of mine.
Never before have I had pastries so rich and so well made. A usual ritual of four of us frequent 'Spooners' is to simply close our eyes and roll the pieces of pastries around in our mouths. Pure, divine heaven!!!
Our regular orders are always the Creamy Oreo Cheese Cake and the Chocolate Mud Pie (remember to ask for a topping of cream when ordering for this one!). And they're simply soooo sinfully... read more -

The best bakeshop in Bangalore so far...I always find Spoonful of Sugar to be the best...I love the Raspaberry cheesecake, its really delicious, the mudpie and brownies are so chocolatey....the apple crumble is awesome. Price compared to others is reasonable. A must try.... -

Tucked away in a small lane in Indiranagar, this place is definitely the best desert place in Bangalore. Every desert that we have tasted so far has been brilliant - not very easy to achieve! The Oreo pie is the absolute best in town......the only other place that comes even close for Oreo pie is Spiga. The blueberry cheesecake, the chocolate strawberry gateux, the strawberry merengue, the mascarpone pie.....every one of them is just amazing!
