It was burrp that dragged us to this place and mind you it was some distance that we had to travel....
The place was hard to locate since we were not very familiar with the area but eventually did manage to get there in one piece. Now we had skipped dessert at the previous place to come to this place so the expectations were pretty high !!!
One of my friends ordered a cheesecake, the other a chocolate pastry (I forget the name). I went for the 'famous' mud pie.
The mud pie was good but wasn't gooey enough for my liking, the pricing a little too steep. The friend also said she had tasted better cheesecake whilst we found a hair in the pastry.
The guy behind the counter was extremely curteous and replaced it, albeit with an oreo pie since they seemed to have run out off pastries. This at 3 PM was a little strange.
The total tab was on the other side of 500 and was definitely steep. Now, on the basis of past burrp reviews, I had raved about this place to my friends a lot before going in but would probably say it didn't live up to my expectations.
A spoonful of sugar probably wasnt sweet enough for my liking :)
