Spoonful of sugar is the answer to my prayers. I have always regretted the fact that Bangalore lacked an exclusive and exotic desserts place and so was thrilled when my mom and I discovered Spoonful of Sugar a year ago. That it is just a 5 minute walk from my home makes it even more appealing.
The sandwiches there are absolutely amazing and I go there at least once a month to order a Herbed Chilli Cheese sandwich (my favorite). The non veg lasagne is also wonderful - original, fantastically flavoured and very tasty. I am also a fan of the eclairs,their tartlets and the wonderul array of cakes (sadly I have forgotten their exotic names; happily, not their taste). I am now looking forward to trying more of their delicious sounding food items.
The ambience is ok. Maybe a few foreign magazines on the tables would make it more interesting to people like me who wait for food to be packed.
The crowd is upmarket and good.
The price is on the high side but their items are worth every paisa.
I shall soon go back - for more lasagne, more sandwiches and more tartlets.

Thank you for all the amazing comments and encouragement.Very few people understand our concept, which is of a European Patisserie.Our ingredients are of the highest quality, and hopefully you noticed that in the taste of both our desserts and savouries.
Will surely start keeping some coffee table books and magazines on our tables.
