Not good enough 2011-05-23
I read the reviews in Burrp and decided to check this place. But i do not think there is anything to rave about here. We went on a Sunday. about 10 of us. The screen on the first floor is totally kick-ass! But that's where the awesomeness ends.
Service : Oh c'mon, the cutlery wasn't sufficient. Moreover, we had to wait for a really long time for our food.
Food: Can be much much better.
Perhaps it was the size of the group I was in. But nevertheless i should mention, that the place was more or less empty.
My verdict: Average! -

Its changed but still pretty good 2011-05-09
Recently re-visited 64 on a saturday night after a gap of few months and realized quite a bit had changed since both in the offering and ambience. There's a subtle change in the name - now branded Sixty Four instead of 64 with the tagline changed too. The place no longer offers a full-bar, only beer and wine's available now (the owner sadly told us that they got arm-twisted by the license owner in giving it up. The lighting and mood of the main-level has been changed to give a more pub-like feel while the mezzanine and terrace still retain the bistro-feel of yore. Good service, but average food. 2011-04-25
Me and a friend visited this restaurant on a week day for lunch, and the restaurant had a buffet which we didn't wanna go for and ordered food from the menu. Surprisingly there was no alcohol available and the manager was able to offer us couple of mojitos which wasn't that great. We ordered a salad and a pasta, the salad was average but the chicken pasta was good. Overall I would rate this restaurant just above average. -

A wonderful experience 2010-12-20
We had organized a small get-together of about 20 people at 64 on Sunday, 19 Dec... and we had a wonderful experience there. We'd scouted about 10 places in Koramangala and Indira Nagar, and 64 was the first place we saw and it was just right for the informal gathering that we'd wanted. We booked the place two days prior to the event and Richard (the manager) offered us the entire top floor (which has a semi-open terrace) and we met the chef, Joseph who sat with us and helped us decide the lunch menu for the day.

Takes my blues away! 2010-10-12
This is a place which scores well on all counts. The ambience is always superb especially on weekends. Most fridays burdened with the week's work, heading to this place takes worries away. The service is excellent and they always manage to find us just the right table no matter how crowded. The menu is interesting and worth trying are those recommended for the evening -

I made a table booking for 8-30 yesterday evening but reached after 9 PM because of the heavy downpour and resultant waterlogging and traffic jam.There were 2 parties going on at 64.However after the initial confusion we were given a table near the bar.The band played our kind of music, really enjoyed it.The cocktails were very good.Specially the cosmopolitan.Watching the bartender expertly mixing drinks was quite entertaining.The tangy lemongrass prawns were tasty and succulent.Hope it was made fresh and not kept ready as the food was served very fast. Excellent Service; Disappointing overpriced food 2010-07-15
I decided to go to 64 on a Sunday evening and had moderate expectations somehow. However, the moment I entered the place and spent 10 mins there, it somehow gave a lift to my expectaions. There was a QnA game going on and that kept us involved.
We ordered a starter and drinks to start of with, however the starter was a sheer disappointment. It had a weird name and just had 6 small pieces of so called garlic bread. It just tasted awful.
I was now skeptical of having the main course there, but I dont know why I kept sitting.

My taste buds just said WOW 2010-07-11
Ok i have been on a week long discussion with friends over places i can go to and try something european as spain was on their way to the soccer finals. So, one day we ended up at 64 and tried out some starters and deserts and i made up my mind to visit this place for some real food.
Me and my friend today went back, and boy we were not let down. To start of, we ordered for 2 to Tango (I guess thts the exact name). Its veg, but mmmm it tasted just right. I had my long island iced tea for company.

We have introduced an Indian section which offers regional specialities like Avial, Chingari Malai Curry, Gatte ke Sabzi and many more

Interesting 2010-07-05
Have been here a couple of times. Loved the sea bass in the lemon butter and chillies. However, the fish steak should seriously be boneless.
All in all, an interesting place for a continental munch. -

Awesome drinks, good food 2010-06-10
We headed to 64 after much dilly-dallying for a friend's birthday. The primary reason was Bangalore's traffic after some light showers. Our initial destination was a place in Indiranagar, but we decided to stay in Koramangala to reduce our Carbon footprint (read sarcasm) and the dinosaurs that were running amok in our stomach.
64 is situated in the residential-cum-shopping district near HDFC bank on the way to Forum from NGV. There is sufficient parking space and the environs are almost free of traffic noise.
