Recently re-visited 64 on a saturday night after a gap of few months and realized quite a bit had changed since both in the offering and ambience. There's a subtle change in the name - now branded Sixty Four instead of 64 with the tagline changed too. The place no longer offers a full-bar, only beer and wine's available now (the owner sadly told us that they got arm-twisted by the license owner in giving it up. The lighting and mood of the main-level has been changed to give a more pub-like feel while the mezzanine and terrace still retain the bistro-feel of yore. Food menu's changed too with few more appetizers and a new pub-meals section that has some popular indian choices too at a very reasonable price. I mostly stuck to old favorites, which thankfully were as good as ever.
Though i couldn't get my regular poison - whisky, the beer on tap was a good-enough alternative esp for the warm night. My lady friend tried couple of their wine cocktails, which she said were excellent.
One thing that hadn't changed was the entertainment. The place has a proper stage now and a young band called Black Sun was playing some good-old blues-rock.
All-in-all, even though its changed some, still had a great time as before.
