    Went to this place for the first timeand the chef didn't disappoint us. Barra kabab was great, felt like the one you have in Karim's , Delhi. A little disappointed with the "Raan", it was a bit under-cooked but had the spices and flavors.

    The biryani and the mutton curries were great. I would recommend that you have only the mutton dishes rather than going for chicken, the mutton gravies over shadow the chicken ones.

    Over priced though, and a lot goes on taxes. I expect them to improve on the "Sikander Raan" next time.

    Me and my family love this place, and being vegetarians, we are able to get good variety of stuff to eat here. Their vegetarian kebabs are really good! I love their phirni, very well made!

    had to wait a long time for the table......good ambiance and excellent service....had heard a lot about the biryani....but did not meet my expectation.....i guess the seating could have been better....overall an ok place

    Samarkhand has been around for a while now, a restaurant that took the Bangalore culinary scene by storm simply because of their major focus of tandoori style food centers around the highly underutilized lamb rather than chicken as is the case in most restaurants in Bangalore.

    They are unique - in a good way! Excellent decor, the way the restaurant has been designed is great. You feel good when you enter the place. Its food quality can be described as supreme - Rotis with a Paneer Dish, along with a dessert is usually what we get. Go here and experience the food.

    I had visited this place earlier two years back and back then the taste of food served and quality was good. Last night we went there for our anniversary and how i wished i had instead gone to a street food outlet. Atleast it would taste better.

    Firstly, the person taking order had no clue how dishes taste in their restaurant. We had asked if anjeer kabab would be appropriate for our two year old and person said yes its sweet and not spicy. And then we get starter full of green chillies.     They used to serve tasty briyani in bangalore a year ago. This time on new years eve we decided to eat briyani , Firstly we had to wait there for alomost an hour and to add to that the briyani tasted like the briyani served on the streets.. I haven't tasted anything as bad as this one. Sorry to say , for a 500 bucks briyani , they served two small chicken pieces... and rest were potatoes which looked like chicken to deceive us..
