Samarkand has a varied platter to offer to its visitors and a delicious one at that. Since a long time Samarkand has comfortably slotted in to the top restaurants of Bangalore and nevertheless it has remained popular. Dining here is rarely a disappointment which is why I find myself drawn here every time I step in Bangalore. Samarkand offers some of highest quality North Indian cooking at prices which are worth the food and not exorbitantly set up unlike some of the rivals.

The interior looks like a take on Bukhara at the Maurya Sheraton, Delhi. The menu seems to have nothing to do with Samarkhand. The food is tasty and the service is efficient. The food is on lines with North Indian/Mughlai cuisine and is rich to the style. Worth a visit. -

my first 2012-01-01
This was my first visit .. Dinno how it used to be earlier .. So wat i liked the most . Food was awsome .. If you love to eat lamb ..Surely visit .. Costly but ..ok .must eat item " phirni" (desert) .. Ambiance .. Ok kinda .. Crowded in weekends so make reservation prior to visit .. Parking for byke is at your own head :) -
