  • Simply Pathetic Jul 19, 2013

We went as a team of 50 for lunch today. Place has a damp stinky smell as soon as you enter. It was suffocating and we had to recheck if the AC was on. The waiter, supplier were all completely ignorant of these things. We ordered some beverages and they all looked similar in color and the supplier was not what is what!. Food was not good. Roti was like rubber. Exorbitantly priced. Only the rice items at the end were tasty. Service is really bad. If you order a plate of rice for 5 people, he will finish the serving with 3 and make other 2 look like fools. A guy kept on insisting we take Pan beeda... read more

  • Paneer Multani dish - a must try! Mar 15, 2013

This is a really good restaurant located in Forum Mall. If you are hungry, go to this place. Absolutely love the Paneer Multani dish (I dont remember if this is the exact name of the dish) - its great! I would not be able to eat it all by myself, it probably serves more than one person. Go to this restaurant for a unique dining experience and good food!

  • Not worth the money Mar 04, 2013

Great ambiance..decent service but the amount of money you spend is not worth for the quality and taste of the food. The kebabs were under cooked. Way too slow service..very ordinary food.

  • Delicious food Feb 17, 2013

One of the best mutton raan in the city which tastes awesome, but don't look for quantity. They serve half raan to be precise. Try the "kachi ghost ki biryani", mutton was cooked properly. Expensive place but satisfactory

  • Quality has gone down. Nov 21, 2012

This used to be one of our preferred eating joints, but last visit has changed my perception.
The decore is still superb, with the train ambience and the good comfy seating and lighting etc.
The service is fine too, however the food was a big disappointment...
Lots of items on the menu were not available, and among the ones that they had, the taste was barely average, and thats not what you expect when you are paying 500-600 per head. it's not worth the money spent, but i do hope they can pick up the quality again.

  • Charming! Nov 21, 2012

BJN Group does not fail to impress, and takes the splendour a notch above with Sahib Sindh Sultan.

The first thing that strikes you when you enter SSS is the ambience and decor. You just cannot not admire how striking the interiors are. This is one of those places you probably go to when you're treating someone. If that someone happens to be a firang - this is guaranteed to be a superhit. It's been made to look and feel like a luxury train from the time of the British Raj. The staff is dressed to keep in line with this theme, and every now and then you hear the train whistle to really

  • Decent food but expensive Nov 19, 2012

I love the ambience at Sahib Sindh Sultan as it is designed like the first train which ever ran in India. The interiors are very well done and it is divided into 2 sections - inside the train and outside on the platform. Inside section is plushly decorated but it is very tough to get a seating place there as it is heavily booked out during weekends and weekday dinners. Platform kinda seating is still good. I loved the chicken biryani there made in dum style and also tandoori kebabs. I thought the food was expensive though. It is a good restaurant to take your expat friends or colleagues to.

  • Decent - Apt for entertaining out of towners Nov 13, 2012

If you're taking some out of towners (especially British) out for the evening, this is a good option. The decor would make them feel at home and so would the food and music. The drinks are a little high priced but that's obvious, given the nature, ambience and decor of the place.

  • Not good :( Aug 20, 2012

I went there on 31st Dec. The place was packed, as expected. That night, they had a set menu. By which I really wasn't impressed. Somehow, I had heard so many things about the place, that my expectations were quit a bit - but by the time I was done with SSS, it was like someone had thrown cold water on my expectations from the place. It was cramped, seating was uncomfortable & the food really wasn't that much - contrary to popular belief. Can do better, I feel.

  • Good food good service Jul 18, 2012

I have been to Sahib Sindh Sultan many times t. It is a place with nice food, good ambiance and good service. The restaurant has been done up well with a classical British theme and "train bogey" being the star attraction.menu options are plenty The staff is courteous and well trained. Over all great experience
