Those were the days.....
Thats an apt title to begin with. we stepped into this place just looking at its terrace sitting from church street. After a 2 storey climb, the perch was truly lovely. Reminds you of the times you and the girlfriend just wanted to sit and look out onto the world below you. This is as close as it gets.
The food was pretty good, a bigger emphasis given to the fries(why?) and fried falafal, but portions were adequate and very tasty. Waiters are non intrusive and give you the space to feel comfy. the takia's and sit down atmosphere create a very hippy atmosphere, more like 60s England that you get to see on TV.
All in all, a decent place to spend a couple of hours.

Haminast!
This place caters to Middle Eastern expats, so don't be surprised to be the only Indian around! The Persian food is hearty and heavy, yet familiar to fans of Mughlai food. But if you want to make the most of this place, get one of the two balcony tables, grab a hookah, and watch Church Street go by at night. It's enough to make you want to read the unabridged Rubaiyat and compose delicate couplets in Persian!
