  • Good food, crowded place

    We had come here for lunch on a Saturday noon. We were seated on uncomfortable chairs near the kitchen. So my eyes started burning due to the smoke from the chimney... I could barely eat the food which was served. All the while, i was wiping tears... I was full by eating butter naan with some chicken sabzi ( forgot the name oops . It was good but spicy. The masala papad and jeera water didn't control the tears flowing from my eyes... A good place to eat but crowded. Go for the food..

  • Fantastic Food

    I've heard about the place for many years, but surprisingly never went it, perhaps it was the incongruous name ...Anyway, as people have commented, the phulkas here are fresh, and hot, the daal makhani is creamy and spicy, the bhindi fry was crisp and gently spiced ,the rogan josh was surprisingly good with tender meat and a gravy like grandma used to make it (not my grandma though, she was vegetarian)

    the price is just right and I can understand why it's not easy finding a table at this gem of a restaurant..
