  • Overall good May 12, 2013

    Ambiance- Amazing
    Service- Good
Food- Good. However, everything is little sweet. You crave for some spicy stuff by the end of your meal. Very limited items on the menu.
    Microbrewery- Nice brews.
Price- A bit too much. They don't serve raita with biryani! You have to shell out 150 bucks to have raita.

  • One of the rare places to have good service Apr 25, 2013

Quite liked the 4 brews. The caramel hint in the dark beer was quite pronounced. But it could have been a bit creamier. The premium lager was quite refreshing. The ale had a distinct flavor of honey. For people who prefer it a bit sweeter, this one is a must try. The wheat beer was the only one that failed to stand out. I would definitely recommend the taster that gives all 4 in small quantities.

We ordered the paneer starter, based on a recommendation and it was good. Fresh paneer with a distinct smoky flavor of the tandoor that is most often missing in tandoor dishes. The main course

  • What's more punjabi than beer? Mar 23, 2013

Been to the Delhi joints several times. Surprised that they have a micro brewery here. Had a few beers. Went in a little late and they were about to close down. Grabbed a couple of quick beers. Sad Bangalore shuts down at 11 PM. Grrrr

  • Getting lost in the shoo sha Jan 22, 2013

I visited this place sometime back and was pleasantly surprised. The food was great beer was good place was jazzy and quantities were huge. I didn't mind paying the extra buck for a perfect experience. However I went there last night and found things very different. They are actually serving fountain pepsi/soda which is super flat. I was shocked as they don't even have cans other than diet. The rotis were chewy and by the time I finished my meal I had a headache from all that chewing. Paneer was very hard and masala was stale. Dal was very rich but couldn't save the day. All in all a big... read more

  • Excellent Punjabi food Jan 02, 2013

Hands down the best Punjabi food that I have eaten. I am not a Punjabi so I don't know if its authentic Punjabi but definitely the best. We were promptly ushered in on a Sunday where we went in for a nice brunch knowing the quantity of food that is provided here is definitely not for the average people to finish! The servings for all food items are in huge quantities and is very delicious. We tried only the vegetarian dishes but I am pretty sure non-veg would be as good. For all the things going good for this place including the location - its right in front of Forum mall in Koramangala, its defini... read more

  • Good food and freshly brewed beer Nov 26, 2012

I had been to PBN last week with a group of friends for lunch. The food was good, especially the Galouti Kebab and Dahi ke Kebab. Special mention for the Kasturi Kebab which was the best dish served I would reckon. We had also ordered the Raan-e-Punjab which was not as good as it has been in the past. We were served complimentary Jalebi with Rabri which was divine and served as the perfect dessert. Talking of the alcohol, we ordered 4 pitchers of the dark beer and it is one of the best beers I have had for a long time is what I have to comment. Ambience of the place is good - overall it is a nice... read more

  • Expensive Nov 21, 2012

Great ambiance & good beers from their microbrewery but lousy tasting food! Amazed at how they can charge so much for the oily food. Supposed to be cooks from Delhi but did not get any Delhi tastes! Also, the much hyped "large quantities" seem to be their own making - we did not find any super large quantities on any of the dishes ordered and can easily say the quantity is of equal proportion to any other place in town! Pricing leaves a huge hole in your pocket and we came away dis-satisfied with the service too - even after flaying our arms wildly we could not catch the eye of any of the waiters... read more

  • The food is okay Nov 20, 2012

The food is okay. PbN is a little hyped up.
What I liked the best about PnN was their dahi ke kebab. But their prices are bit of a letdowner for me!
