Trying to do too much all at once Aug 15, 2012

The owners / management of this place are trying to do way too much all at once with the multitide of cusines, huge place and looks like this is their first venture into the restaurant business. Their staff are not professional enough for a fine dining experience that they claim with their 'Other Crescent' setup. I have been here on more than 3 or 4 occassions for one and only one reason that the taste of their north indian food is good.

We went there after searching a lot for a good english breakfast. The disappointment is, they don't serve english breakfast anymore. Just south indian food. The waiter told me the english & continental breakfasts have been closed few months back. Disgruntled.

We were not able to sustain serving English breakfast as the turn out in our area for the same was inadequate for us to continue.

I have visited this place thrice. All three times didnot have good experience with food and ambience. It seems like a calm n nice. but they r always hosting parties and so if a customer comes they ask them sit one side only which is annoying. Noise levels are quite high cuz of too many party people.
In terms of food i didn like the chicken biryani or soups served by them. Dear Ms.Sania,
We thank you for your very valid observation. We are looking at a restructuring which would isolate the dining and party areas so that either of them are not affected.
We would like to improve on our chicken biryani and soups if you could let us know what exactly you didn't like about them.
We would also look into the pastry issue. However pastries do not get harder as they become older.

The managers are deceiving in terms of their treatment and we got a bill for 10x on what was communicated to us. Whats funny is that the owner threatened us to payup instead of fixing their mistake, yikes!

As a policy we hold a tasting session free of cost for the people who are going to finalize having a party at our restaurant.
The food would be served from the banquet menu, the dishes would be the ones shortlisted by the customer.
In your case you had shortlisted the dishes in our banquet menu. You came in with 6 people and started ordering food from the A la Carte menu. Our staff had adequately briefed you about having to pay the bill for your order according to the prices specified in our menu.
