  • Expensive and erratic working hours Mar 10, 2012

    I mainly go to this place to buy seeds for salad greens and vegetables. The lettuce seeds I bought from here grew into beautiful greens.
    That apart, the tiny containers in which they grow stuff and sell is outrageously expensive. The lady who works there is pretty unhelpful even to return change.
    My biggest problem with this store is unreliable work hours. I drive 5 km from my house to buy some seeds, and there's a padlock on their glass door on a working day at 12 noon. Now, I don't know if 12 noon is lunch time in Bangalore.

    Dear SaffronTrail, I am happy to note that you like our seeds. Yes, some of our ceramic containers are expensive, but kindly consider that they are not locally obtained and are exclusively obtained by us from overseas markets to give our customers a large variety to choose from.

    Regarding working hours, we work 7 days a week from 10:30 - 7:30. We dont close for lunch. But if it is closed at any time, it is for a few minutes for a nature break for the employee.   • The right place for plant lovers Oct 06, 2011

    It was an amazing experience to visit Potted Paradise to see such a wide variety of plants potted in exciting pots like baskets, clay animals and so on. The best part of the plants available here that they require minimal care. This is especially very attractive for me as I am a working woman and cannot spend much time on watering them.
    In fact, I visited their outlet in HyperCity that has been opened recently. I managed to pick some great flowers during the discount festival.
    I strongly recommend Potted Paradise for all nature lovers.

    I ran into this shop which I suppose is new in that area. I was wonderfully surprised by the concept as I was bored with traditional bouquets and looking for options with plants. I loved their idea of potted plants and baskets, I picked couple for my office table and as party gift. The lady(owner) is very helpful providing ideas if one is new/confused but love plants.
    I recommend this place to all plant lovers if you are looking for something more than what you can pick from a nursery.
    I see myself going back again.
