  • Unhygenic...Uncooked..Miserable 2011-09-22

When we entered the place, we understood that this may not be as good as our favourite chinese hang outs in the city. But uncooked Golden Fried Prawns and smelly Fish Manchurian is not something we expected. We also need to take a little bit of the blame, when there is half a dozen chinese places in the near vicinity we went to this place just to try a new restaurant. Any ways the 2 stars is for the price, the bill came to less than 400 with steamed momo. noodle, prawn and fish.

My most visited joint. Would have helped if they were accepting food coupons.

  • Momo-land! 2011-07-05

A two hour break prompted me & 3 other friends of mine to venture out of college for lunch. One of them suggested Popsies; being new to Bangalore I just tagged along. Once you enter Popsies it takes a few seconds to get accustomed to the lack of light. The decor is mainly bamboo shoots and tiny lanterns above your table that are the only source of light. Not complaining at all, the decor is pleasant. The washroom is clean as well.

We ordered the Veg Fried Schezwan Momo & the Chicken Fried Schezwan Momo for starters along with 3 Cokes. The momos were delicious. Just the right amount of

  • Average 2011-05-01

I had the steamed schezwan chicken momos, there were 10 momos per plate. They came bathed in a very average tasting "schezwan sauce". The presentation was dismal, it would have been much nicer if the sauce was served as a side. Never order this!

My husband had the vegetarian thukpa, it was quiet nice. The three stars are for the thukpa.

  • Worst food, disgrace to chinese food 2011-04-27

I have been there 3 times will never go there again, because everytime i go there, the food is not even close to authentic Chinese. Momos you can get it else where around koromangala, well cooked and good to taste. Went with my Ex, that day ordered foo young, i feel pity that the chef might not have ate or seen how a foo young looks like in his entire life. Its just one egg omelet with no vegetables. Why they put these things in Menu. i"m big fan of chinese food, the place rather look old cheapo type, road side stalls. Other day i ordered chicken fried rice thinking i'll not try anything fancy... read more

  • Not so tasty Chinese food 2010-09-19

Ambience not great. Service is good. Food isn't worth it. Expensive for what you get!

    Great scope for improvement!

    I don't recommend it.

  • Adorable Little Place 2010-05-16

Popsies is a really cute little place which is tucked away on a side street in Koramangala, just opposite Chung Wah. It is a favorite hangout of mine, whenever in the vicinity and a friend and I went there yesterday for dinner. We were greeted at the door by a cheerful waiter, who was "taking the air" and after returning his greeting, we ambled inside to find ourselves seats. Being comparitively empty, as it was just 8 pm, we were able to choose where we wanted to sit and finally, sat down on a pair of sofas near the center of the restaurant. The furniture is very sweet. Completely made of bamboo... read more

U wanna have corn starch loaded chinese... or thick skinned momos that make u forget what momos really are... or if u just wanna fill ur stomach with some msg loaded noodles or rice christened as chinese...basically...if you're completely out of your mind... or really low on cash(they give quite large portions!) u can hit this place... dingy but who the hell cares when you know you're not completely in a great state of mind if u actually wanna go eat there... two stars...one for the portions and second for the cost...ends there.

  • Please Avoid 2010-04-13

Its got unhygienic and funny tasting food, and you can tell from the taste/aroma that they don't use quality ingredients. Also, they don't bother keeping the place clean. I have been there a couple of times with friends as they were looking for "cheap" chinese food, but its neither very cheap nor palatable and it was consistently bad
