  • Wonderful! 2011-09-11

This is my second visit to Pinxx and both times, my experience has been wonderful. The ambience of the place is lovely and there is an amazing variety of food on display. On both occassions, I had been for dinner and it was truly a fantastic way to end an evening. My friend and I arrived, strolled upstairs and settled comfortably down in plush seats overlooking the lobby and ordered drinks. I ordered a Belvedere Citrus with Orange Juice and my friend ordered a Martini. We then looked around at the beautifully done restaurant and the other occupants. After our drinks arrived and we had sipped a... read more

  • Midnite buffet: HORRENDOUS! 2011-05-02

had been here for the midnite buffet on a saturday nite with a bunch of friends.. the experience was totally disappointing.
a non-veg buffet with just 2 non veg items, chicken biriyani and mutton kheema curry, both tasting horrible. food was bland.. the only good item was masala dosa. Now.. paying ~500 bucks to have masala dosa at midnite is definitely an overkill!!
there was just one dessert.. neva botherd to taste it...

Overall.. please avoid this place, unless you are looking for creative ways to screw up your Saturday at midnite.. :)

  • pathetic midnite buffet at exorbitant prices!! 2011-05-02

We (a group of 11) had been to the midnite buffet last Saturday night..and it turned out to be pathetic...a buffet with very few dishes (more of vegetarian dishes) like this was actually disappointing! a non-veg. buffet without a chicken curry and 1 dessert is like the worst u can imagine!!thy dint bother to refill the salads or did thy bother to give us the starters..oh yeah..and all this for a puffed up price of 470/- or so... "Pinxx" just transformed our Saturday night dinner to a nightmare..!!

  • Good for a formal meet 2009-12-29

Went to this place for a team meeting dinner..
Nice place..Wouldnt cal the ambience romantic at all..
But a neat place for a family dinner or a casual food place with frenz.
Buffet seems to be on the expensive side, (472/-) but it does prove to be OK with the choice of desserts.

  • Home Away from Home 2009-05-11

Love this place. It's not the greatest food at all times, but very close to it. My wife and I have been here atleast twice to thrice a month. The buffet is good and for the price, literally unbeatable. We usually have buffet with nachos and enjoy ourselves to the hilt everytime. My wife enjoys the fact that they have Dahi vada and always has it at the very beginning of her meal. The desserts are par excellence.

We have been going here very very regularly and plan do so for a very very long time.

Excellent place for couples or families.

  • Good food, amazing desserts 2008-08-19

Must say that I'm a bit surprised that Kris sisn't like the food. I've enjoyed the food at Pinxx each of the 4 times I've been there.

What's most striking are the toilets (or for the Americanised, rest rooms): XX and XY, so if you don't remember high school bio as to which chromosome combo is for male and which for female, kindly ask the staff.

The buffet, which is a primarily Indian food (with a couple of Chinese items thrown in along with some nice salads) is very good. The soups were good and so were the salads. The dahi vada was probably the best I'd had in a long time

  • my view :-) 2008-03-06

Went there for friend's bachelor party... from the word go... we knew it was a wrong choice coz the ambiance is strictly family like and u be 'better dont make noice' kinda group. The menu was kept aside and we stuck to the buffet which runs out be 472/- (all inclusive, no drinks) per head.

So we were 12 in all and got a separate place downstairs to let our vocal cords lose. The music is strictly kenny g of whose cd go stuck in the system and they dint bother to change till they dont see a dhaarna outside Pinxx. The dhaarna if u plan to stage has conditions as well... minimum 200 ppl.. <
