We went to ping yesterday and to our dissapointment it wasn't gr8 as people have made it out to be! It was expensive alright but food was just about average. dimsum was good but not excellent. main course was okay but nothing special! Food for two came for about 800 bucks!! apart from all this the i must say service was good and prompt. having said that we were offended by Steward/ head steward in coat and tie!! the moment we kept our spoon down he came and asked whether we're finished and when we nodded he quickly started clearing our table without our permission.......a place like this and they dont have enough plates or what???!!! however we found this attitude very rude. After last night experience at Ping me and my husband has mutually agreed its not worth a second visit. If u want advice bangalore is a big city with many restaurants and if u give a miss to Ping, u r not missing a thing. I liked China pearl far better and quite affordable.

This will help us to improve our standards. Let me assure you that your feedback has reached the service staff who attended to you last night and we are richer by the experience.
At P!ng, we take customer feedback very seriously because that is the true indication of how we are doing. We understand from your feedback that there are areas which we need to improve on when it comes to service and the kitchen.
Let me also add a personal note from my side. As an avid foodie myself, I do agree with you that we Bangaloreans are spoilt for choice and that P!ng is only a recent addition to the culinary map. We strongly believe that the money a customer spends needs to be justified by the overall experience - the food, the service and the ambience. Doubtlessly, we did not deliver on these fronts during your visit. Having said that, I also firmly beleive that the feedback of your fellow burrpers does indicate that there is a difference in what P!ng offers. A distinct difference in the flavours, the ambience and our friendly service. I believe that we are deserving of a second visit. I would request you to re-consider your opinion and see for yourselves if your feedback has helped us change
