We have been to this place yesterday (01-Nov-2009) , I insisted that we go here after seeing all the review on BURRP but i was not very much satisfied with the DIM SUM , we ordered NON VEG PLATTER and it didn't even come anywhere near to the PRICE QUALITY QUANTITY to that of MAINLAND CHINA. The place is not at all worth of the price they charge, we are regular to Mainland China and there we get good Buffet with Unlimited Dim Sums & a Great Buffet for Rs.450... the dessert menu was good. I ordered "Original Sin" and it was really very good... if you ask me if we will go back to this place, the answer will be MAYBE just for the Dessert but surely not for Dim Sum....

I understand from your review that you were not able to appreciate the Dim Sum since you felt that our Non Veg Platter is overpriced.
Since you have mentioned about the buffer that you have tasted elsewhere, I would wish to point out that P!ng does serve a Dim Sum set-lunch on all weekdays. This set-lunch does have unlimited Dim Sum along with other courses that we serve. Do try it one of these days. Unlike most places, our Dim Sum choices are much wider. We serve 40 varieties on the menu and during the set-lunch we offer new varieties which are outside our menu. Which means that every week, our patrons get to taste newer Dim Sum. Hope you will visit us for lunch to taste this lunch and give us your feedback. BTW, this set-menu is priced at Rs. 350/- only. Like most restaurants, the set-menu is offered only on weekdays and for lunch.This was not on offer since you visited us on a Sunday.
The Dim Sum platter on the other hand, is a selection of our signature Dim Sum and is hence costed a bit higher and is also not unlimited in the serving. It is, also, our most popular selection that many of our patrons have appreciated
Thanks for the feedback on the Original Sin. We do have a large range of desserts, which you must have got to see while our service staff presented them to you. If you do visit us next time only for the dessert, do try some of the other desserts.
At P!ng, we believe that we offer an outstanding variety as far as Dim Sum is concerned. We also have an eye on authenticity. We believe that you will find the Dim Sum set menu lunch to your liking
