One of the most highly rated restaurants by Burrp, I refuse to believe it.
Me and a few of my friends (all of us love South East Asian food), went to Ping, because it was highly rated by Burrp.
When we first walked in, there was no one in the restaurant. I was quite appalled by this, now I know why. Read below.
Ambience (Poor-3/10)
The place looks more like an restaurant, which is situated in somebody's house. The seating area, has a very basic rudimentary look. To enhance the artistic value of the place, several paintings are hung on the wall, otherwise, there is not much which appeals to the eye. I guess, the dining area outside, would be much better.
Food (6/10)
The food however was quite decent, although it didn't really live up to our expectations. The starters were good, finely made and had a lot of variety. However, the main course lacked creativity. We ordered four different dishes, and all four were more or less the same in taste.
Staff/Service (3/10)
The staff employed do not sound conversant with English. The waiter taking our order didn't know English. The food was served after 45 mins, which is again unsatisfactory.
All in all, the experience was not pleasant. And I'm definitely not going to this place again. I would recommend you to explore more options too.
