  • That's okay, we still love you.

  • Cringing, craving, bingeing, braving... you always have an opinion on what's hot and what's not in your city and we just love to hear it. Besides, there's no better place to satiate that itch to bitch!

With the help of our fellow burrp reviewers, we stumbled across this new Chinese restaurant called P!ng in Koramangal, on 1st Cross, took some friends and we had a great time.

The ambiance is great, modern with no faux Oriental nonsense, and pleasant. It's a big space, so they must be dreaming big! Everything was clean and professional, and the kitchen is open, which is encouraging as you can look in and see the clean work space.

The starters are top notch, we got the non-veg platter, but substituted the lamb for chicken (we don't care much for 'baa baa' on the plate). Each and every one was delicious, with a great variety of sauces for the different styles. Loved the chicken momos, crab fritters and prawn dumplings.

For mains, we convinced the chef to turn the Lemon Coriander Veg into Lemon Coriander Chicken, and it was fabulous! I honestly think it should be on the menu. We ordered several other dishes: Kung Bao chicken, Stir-fry Veg, Hunan Chicken and a few others, all were nicely done and well presented.

The kids sampled all of the kids items and loved 'em, as well.

The desserts were good, although %90 of them were ice cream, with only a few pastry options, which we'd like to see more of.

My only recommendations would be: Get a coffee machine, gotta have java with dessert, and take the ginger out of the chili paste (or make one w/o ginger).

All in all, a great place, decently priced, I think you'll love it!

Dear Pastameshugana (I like the ID),

It was a pleasure to see you in our restaurant. Humbly speaking, I feel as if we almost passed an acid test getting the review we got from a well travelled connoisseur like you. To share with you something, we heard feedback that we should probably put chinese like ambience and music; and I like that you appreciated us not having gone that way because we do not want to overdo the whole chinese razzmatazz. For that matter, we have not used any chinese characters in our hoardings. Coming to food, it is a pleasure to know you liked our dishes and I'm glad you also liked Lemon Coriander Chicken, which we were happy to make, responding to your preference. We have taken notice of your suggestions and will keep them in our list of enhancements as we go along. And thank you for putting the review on our website as well. We look forward to hosting you, and your family and friends very soon again.
