Cringing, craving, bingeing, braving... you always have an opinion on what's hot and what's not in your city and we just love to hear it. Besides, there's no better place to satiate that itch to bitch!
Great place. Great ambience. Great food and moderate pricing. Whether you go as a couple or with a group, this is a great place to try. Will come back again.
I ordered some Mutton dish and it was done really nice...very few places can make mutton the way these people do it. Didn't try any other cuisine here. I found the price a bit on the higher side.
I was here over during the weekend and was able to get a table within 10 mins. The ambiance is nice though the place is not very big. I ordered some beer and found it not chilled. Not sure if the bartender understands what is chilled beer. Food was nice and tasty and quantities were good. Service is average. Since this place is inside the SFO hotel it has valet parking.
After reading all these fake review, i went to this restaurant for lunch. I was very disappointed. we ordered chicken chimichanga and some indian dish, indian dish was good but so called chimichanga was like chicken puff and the rice was smelling stale(the waiter replaced the rice). I hope they hire a mexican chef or atleast buy a mexican cook book if not atleast visit Tgif where the make chimichangas, Guys chimichanga requires lots of cheese, chicken, more cheese, flavored rice and more cheese. Dont make a chicken puff and call it chimichanga.
service - average food - below average ... read more
Normally I shy away from the so-called "multi-cuisine" venues, so when one of my friends coerced me into going to this indian/mexican/"global" eatery, I wasn't there with the highest of expectations. But I must admit, I was pleasantly surprised here. The food was of an exceptional quality. The non-vegetarians among us (myself included) shared a starter course of the non-veg tandoori platter, which was delicious! I had a baked fish, shrimp and egg dish based on a mushroom/cheese sauce for the main course, and I was blown away. The others (including the vegetarians) seemed to enjoy their food... read more
Dined here about 6 times in the last 7 months. Dont take the buffet! Too less, for too much! Go a la carte! Fabulous variety.Good food, value for money! Great service! Different yet, good ambience! Avoid Cable Car!
Had great expectations from this place after reading those good reviews from burrp! But was extremely dissapointed. No choice of non veg soup. They would serve the starter just once or max twice and that too on request though starters should be available on the buffet. The food trays were empty and we had to ask them to fill food everytime. Pathetic experince, would never go back there.
The place is slightly expensive and not moderate as mentioned here.
We ordered mexican soup which was quite good and different from the usual soup.
Next came the main course, chicken pasta and veg biryani (what a combo!). Pasta was nice (not the greatest, but quite good) and biryani was quite different with different layers to it. I believe this is the authentic way of serving biryani
Service was good and decor too was good. There was not much crowd though (maybe coz it's a new place), overall a very nice experience and I'll definitely go there again
Had been to Pier 39 twice in the last 2 months. The seats are quite comfortable, the lighting is just perfect and the service is reasonably quick. We ordered cocktails for ourselves. Which was made very well. For starters we had some Aloo chaat, though expensive, it was very well made. Then came the main course, and i happened to order "chimichanga" on both my visits. You will definitely fall in love with Mexican food if you come here. The nachos, Burritos, tortilla chips, everything tastes just right. My only complain would be that their choice of deserts are very limited and it was a total... read more
This restaurant had been on my wishlist for a very long time and I was happy to be able to pay a visit last week.
1st thing that strikes one the moment you enter the place is the different setup with mock bars and a real one in the shape of a boat.
The food overall was not bad. I wouldn't say that I was impressed but I wasn't disappointed either. We tried Veg Platter, Burritos, Sher-e-Punjab Tandoori Chicken, Rotis, Peas/Mushroom sabji. The majority were vegetarians thus the order.
We liked the chicken and sabji a lot. The burrito did not seem so mexican. Platter should... read more
