Pebbles is actually a great venue with a variety of lounge spaces and dance areas depending on what you are in the mood for. Their last party, on Saturday, January 16th, however, was a cesspool of expat trash. Hosted by what appeared to be a well known party plannner cum loser, VIren, the crowd showed its truly colors when the party was over. I dont know whether it was just this particular night or Bengaluru's "hifi" party scene in general but the crowd milling outside in the wee hours of midnight was utterly obnoxious. Although we were warned of Viren's notorious love for white trash (hailing from both the european and north american continents) nothing could have prepared us for the drunken stupidly and mindless exchanges that defined much of the night. Pebbles should think twice before hosting Viren again.
