Fine Dining at its best 2011-06-24
We were a table of 04 and arrived without a table reservation. On a Wednesday night, I was surprised to see this place full. However, the staff went out of their way to accommodate us. We were not sure of what to order as the menu was so vast.
While the food was superlative, I must recommend the Soft Shell Crab and the roast duck. Being adventurous, we also tried stuff from the Malay menu and as a regular traveller, I must admit - the chefs have done a great job in replicating the international dishes locally. All in all, it was a wonderful experience and I will certainly return. -

Lovely dining -OKO 2011-06-24
We had a wonderful experience at Oko on Monday with some of my friends from Delhi.Not only the restaurant's ambience is so nice but we loved the food and the way it was presented. Chicken Satay was owesone and so were the tempura.I would definitely refer this restaurant.

About 12 of us recently dined at OKO. The only common drink we had was water which was not bottled. All restaurants provide filtered water even if bottled water is not requested. This does not seem to be the case with this restaurant which claims to be 5 star. Exactly 48 hours later all 12 of us experienced very severe symptoms of vomiting, diarrhea, and some of us fever. A 5 star restaurant service does not mean gourmet sized, highly priced items of food served in a pleasant ambience. It means the clients right to expect 100% hygiene to begin with.
