Worst Expereince in Sarangeti 2012-05-06
This is the worst experience i ever had in a restaurant. the ambience is gud. but is worst in its kind. i orderd for a fish and waited for 30 mins to know that the item i ordered is not available. they were not at all bothered to tell me that it is not available. we orderd for some other dishes which we we were served after finishing the lunch. even then they did not remember that we ordered it. we had to ask 3 times for a coke. We complained the same to a so called manager there. he was simply telling sorry. we asked for a figer bowl and they served it with cold water. we asked him to replace... read more -

We went for a team dinner and had a good experience. Food ,service ,ambience was really good. Had a great time .

Located in the top floor and corner of Total Mall, Madiwala, this place cannot be missed. Ambiance of this place is what sets is apart. No sooner than you enter this place and you are awestruck. The forest like ambiance is pretty cool and the waiters are also dressed in forest style. Coming to the food, its pretty delicious. No specialty in the food as such but its good. The ambiance will force you have some drinks. Single malt is always the best. The price they charge is also decent. Good food overshadowed by numerous short comings 2011-11-21
I dont remember how many times I have been to Serengeti. It has become the go to place for us. The quality of food remains consistently good. The chicken dishes are truely mouth watering.
However, there has been no change whatsoever to the ambience of the place and the service has gone down a notch. One would have expected that the management would try to alter the ambience of the place, atleast a little bit over time, to surprise returning patrons. would like to visit again 2011-09-01
I loved the taste and ambiance by ohri's serengeti.Me and my friend from hyderabad decided to visit the restaurant serengeti by ohri's as they are famous in hyderabad according my friend. I was very satisfied by their service, food and their beautiful theme. Their staff members were cooperative. I suggest people to visit for their kabab and biryani. -

very Bad experience and food.. 2011-08-24
went to celebrate with family to celebrate wedding anniversary..worst ever experience...food not at all upto the mark for the amount we are paying...service to bad...rates too high..I will never refer this place to anyone...and I'll not go there anymore...so bad...most of the food items have the same taste..far better places can be found in Bangalore..just thought of going to a different kind of place, never expected such a worst experience.... -

Very Horrible Experience in SERENGETI 2011-08-08
We just had a team dinner at Serengeti and when the bill came I was surprised to see that they have charged us
(1) Service charge
(2) Service Tax
(3) VAT
This is the first time I have seen that service tax is charged on food. However, the bill did not mention about the Service Tax number which is mandatory as per the law. I seek clarification on the same and the response was rude, arrogant and insulting.
These guys are looting us by charging the service tax on food which is illegal and on top of that not depositing to the govt.

Dear Mr.Darshan,
1.) As per the notification of Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No.12/2003-Service Tax, dated the 20th June, 2003[G.S.R. 503 (E),service tax is applicable on food service in hotels & restaurants.
2.) The service tax code / number has been mentioned @ bottom of all the bills, which is given by govt of India on regular deposition of the same with them.

Another chance 2011-08-03
I have been to Ohri's Serengeti four times in the last two years, and I must admit that I was totally impressed during my first visit. But it has been all downhill after that. The ambiance and the food is really good, but what spoils it is the loud music coming from the pub next door, and the late service. I request the management to sound-proof the place, and revamp the service. I will definitely be visiting the place again, only if these issues are looked into. -
