After numerous recommendations from friends and watching the crowd sitting outside, waiting for a table almost every night made me want to visit this restaurant. The timing couldn't be perfect as my sister-in-law wanted to take a few of us out for dinner and this restaurant happened to be on her list as well.
We were greeted and seated, had great food, thereby creating an all in all, fine dining experience. It is no doubt one of the few good vegetarian restaurants in town which scores 99% on taste and presentation of food.
However, the second time I entered this place with Mom (she's a very difficult person to please, especially when it comes to dining) it wasn't such a great experience. We went here for lunch on a lazy Saturday afternoon and I should have made a reservation like I usually do before visiting most restaurants. I didn't this time and unfortunately, there was a party going on that day, so we were told we'd get a table only after 45 minutes.
Mom has a sharp eye and noticed that almost every table there was empty. Some had the reservation tag and some didn't. So she asked the receptionist cum manager (I'm not sure who he was) if the vacant tables for two or four could be occupied. He said a blank 'NO' and told her that people were waiting outside for hours to occupy these tables.
When we stepped out, there wasn't a single soul present and by the looks of it, it didn't seem like there were people waiting at all. Mom flew into a rage and vowed she'd never come here again, thanks to the bad attitude Sigh.
