My friend and I, after a conference in Taj, wanted to have a peaceful meal not go in for the buffet at the conference. The two hungry birds did not want to go anywhere else and my friend being a huge Chinese fan, decided to just walk a floor below and head to Memories of China.
The dining hall looked very pleasant with pastel colors. There were only 2 tables occupied when we reached and it remained the same till completed our meal. The waiters were really nice, helpful and always smiling and ready to help. We ordered a by two Asparagus soup. I assumed it would be a thick soup with some cream on the top. Much against my assumption, it was a clear soup and the asparagus wasn’t tender. Next was some Crispy Chilli Baby Corn for the starter. This was extremely well done and perfect according to me though my friend wanted it to be less spicier.
Post this, egg being favorite to my friend and he was vouching for the Egg Fried Rice here, this was the obvious choice. With this, we ordered Mixed Seasonal Vegetable Gravy too and indeed my friend’s decision was right and we loved it. with large quantity and tasty food, this was absolutely heavy on our stomachs. There was no space what so ever for the desserts and it was time to leave.
A meal for two without drinks is close to Rs.2500 here definitely is heavy on the pockets too! All in all, a nice place but surely not something that you’d love to go often!
