i hv visited the rest... couple of times,food is quite good,ok ok stuff, whats really dissapointing is the hopeless staff and bludy arrogant staff as mentioned in other reviews really really annoying -

ZERO HOSPITALITY + ARROGANT STAFF 2011-06-05
Been to the restaurant and found me with my wife just staring at the walls and waiters who were obviously very very busy that they could not even greet us (except for the guy who opens the door!) Waited patiently for about 20 mins and decided talk to some manager. To our surprise the manager himself was so arrogant that he said to us "Can't you see how busy I am?"
Previous visits had us waiting for the food for eons long before our hunger gave up and I wanted to just go sleep!
Ambience is mix of dunno wat cultures and history! Food is pre-historic for sure! You can enjoy the Pan outside... read more -

the place and ambience is good.but the location takes a backseat as the locality is not so good.talking about the food,well it is good.though a little spicy,lives upto its name 'masala'.haha. service was bad.not crowded at all.can have family dinners.indian cuisine is good. -

I've been to masala quite a few times, generally to unwind with couple of drinks and decent food. Its an ok place when u don't want to spend much for both alcohol and food.
there is a pub preferably only for guys. not much recommended for family.
the ambience is not bad
service specially upstairs in the A/C section is very slow
food is moderately priced, decent tasting, i'm a vegetarian so can't vouch non veg food -
