    After being to almost all the Chinese restaurant, I went to this place. The exotic decors and interiors raised the expectations by three folds and this place did not let me down. The food is the best I have ever tasted in Bangalore. On the service front, it was a customer delight. We were suggested about the excessive orders we have made and other items which we should order. Though its quite expensive but you will not mind it if compared to taste, ambience etc. Overall a good experience and definitely worth a try.

    My advice would be not to stick with what you eat often. Try different things in the menu. Try something you have never eaten. You will love it.

    Go there prepared to spend. It is very expensive but worth it.

    The Food is great not doubt, but it comes at a price. If you are willing to pay it there are no bounds. The service however lacked a little for me. There are too many things on the table to begin with. Its like an accident just waiting to happen. The hot green tea cup tipped fell on the table and over my legs. The waiters just watched me like i was nuts. Managed to grab the napkin and dry my self to some extent. Would have excepted the captain or staff there to help out drying the table. But they had to be told a few times before they got it.

    Loaded with expectations, we landed at this outlet of MC.
    The decor is Chinese and price expensive ... the food, well does taste yummy !

    What i liked here was the soothing chinese tea,lemon coriander soup and the tasty crispy chilli corn.

    What went wrong ?? The side dish we ordered (Exotic veg in chilli basil sauce) - we had requested the waiter to specifically knock off the mushrooms but the food arrived loaded with them !     All across, Mainland China is slowly emerging as a reliable brand, for good food, along with efficient service and pleasant interiors.

    Not this branch. My two visits there were hilarious, though only in hindsight. In the first one, I had approx 7 waiters serving us at one time, from taking orders to adjusting napkins to pouring water. To the point that I could hardly have a conversation with my friend! In the second instance, I wanted to make a reservation as it was a Saturday. I was told they couldn't do that, not because its fully booked but because it was going to be a crowded day.

    An important point to note about this 3rd outlet of mainland china in bangalore, is that this koramangala branch does NOT have the buffet (which i like) that the other 2 branches have. Not yet anyway, and according to their staff they might not introduce it. So the ala-carte only menu can turn out expensive-around 1,000 INR per person without alcohol. The food was delicious, no doubt about that. This store is yet to reach to the level of the other 2 in terms of service.     We went to this newly opened Mainland China and had an experience worth forgetting. This restaurant does not have a UPS/ generator of any sort. And the decor is pretty much on the dark side. Therefore, when the current went off, there was no way we could read the menu, despite it being high noon outside.
    We were not offered any help and it was only when we asked for a light source did the staff start scrounging around for candles. All of this happened without any apologies, coupled with a lot of lame excuses.

    This was my second visit in 2 weeks to Mainland China -Koramangala.( I really loved the place on my first visit -------- ) .

    However i doubt if i will ever go back there .....
    REASON ...
    The food as always is very good , the service very prompt .......BUT .....

    What has irked me is finding a ROACH LIMB in the dessert we had ordered (The dish of interest was the icecream spring roll) AND the restaurant manager checked with the CHEF and had the nerve to say that its a fried onion .....

    Its almost 6 months since this incident has happened . No one has bothered to get back to me inspite of sharing my coordinates.
