    Always been my favorite when it comes to Naadan food. The Kerala meals here taste so genuine. The beef pepper fry and Karimeen Pollichathu is a must try. Super food with super ambiance. Even seems to be my Dad's favourite as whenever he visits me he prefers not to dine out if not at Kumarakom. Full marks for maintaining the taste :)

    My second visit after a long gap....I thoroughly enjoyed the meal...my last visit to this place was an year ago....I' love kumarakom kappa and meen....and off course the karimeen pollichathu.......

    Been to Kumarakom recently. Tried their Karimeen pollichathu ...I must say it was one of the best that I ever had....it was so yummy....I packed one for my wife too.

    We were 8 of us. Tried most of the menu....most of the items I liked. Heard so much about the mini sadhya. I was disappointed because it was available only on the weekends. We had to try the lunch....it was good , typical kerala rice and curries.

    Must try items includes- Karimeen pollichathu, Chemmen Ularthiyathu, and duck roast....

    Had a good Kerala lunch at Kumarakom. The Moru Kachiyathu was excellent…tasted like home made stuff….Also tried Karimeen pollichathu it was really good

    Wanted to try Appam and stew, unfortunately they serve it only for dinner
    It’s a must try place

    Plz dont go to this place. we didnt find good food there. and the staff behavior was very very bad.

    We went to this place with my family. I want to explore Kerala food. They dont have Kerala food what they mentioned in their menu. other food is also not great. Service is horrible. they just dump the food, they r not proper responding. staff behavior is very very bad.
    I am highly disappointed

    I've been looking for a typical Kerala meal and found this place in HSR layout. I just love the food there.....went for the buffet last week. It was just awesome. I loved the kappa and meen curry. It was little spicy but really loved the preparation, a typical nadan style. The Poricha Kozhi was excellent I had almost 2 plates. I'm not sure how they manage to give so many items at not too expensive rate.

    I also tried the Karimeen pollichathu as I heard a lot about the same from my friends. I was not at all disappointed. It was really special.

    Went here today (Sunday) for Buffet Lunch. It was around 1.30 pm and the place was empty. We were reluctant for Buffet, but then did not think much and started with it. There was a soup which was okay. Appam, Chicken Stew, Beef fry and Fish curry were there for starters. Beef fry was extremely oily and tasted like old stuff. The main course had just Rice, Sambhar, Aviyal and a curry. There was no non-veg in the main course and all the curries including Sambhar tasted so bad and old that we were really disappointed.     Visiting after a long time......the sadhya was excellent ......it was just the same homely food that I had during my last visit to my mom's place in kottayam.....the kozhiporichathu was truly awesome
