Yum corn rotis with butter 2012-01-01
Good plantain leaf meals with hot corn rotis, butter, holige and other tasty north karnataka items.
Great value for money, good service.
Avoid peak hours bcos of the rush. -

Can Visit Once 2011-04-07
Visited Yatrinivas over the last weekend. Having eaten at Bugle Rock before, my expectations were slightly high since this is supposed to be among the earliest restaurants in the Kamat chain.
Tucked away in one of the bylanes in Gandhinagar, close to Sapna Book store is this four storied hotel cum restaurant. While the lobby looks cool and inviting, same does not apply to the restaurant that is in the fourth floor. It gets hot and sweaty. The hygiene levels of the place can also improve.

Jolada roti meals - North karnataka hues 2011-03-16
This place introduced me to north karnataka cuisine.The jolada rotis(with butter) along with the brinjal subzi/butter milk/ chilli bajji is excellent.People who wanna experience north karnataka cuisine should head to this place or try Pai Refreshments -

Unhygenic and worst customer service 2011-01-03
Had been to this resturants many times I've seen steady decrease in quality and customer service!! Sunday, i think its hit the bottom!!!
The glass kept were not clean when i asked to change the glass, the guy was so b**** rude!! You could still let go if rest of it was fair!!
They had this special north karnataka thali @ Rs.150, the only speciality of this thali was its price rest was same as you get a normal thali and that too very very unhygenic!!
Well i dont want to waste any more time to write this review and will never ever go to this place -

Best/healthy food possible 2009-08-21
This is the first time i am rating a place,but i thought it was time i did this.I am a frequent visitor to this place and our common day is friday.After a hectic week at work,this is the day we like to celebrate the coming of weekend.After giving food to my daughter at home(she is sometimes fussy abt the food..so i try to give little b4 i start),me & hubby head out to this place at almost 9.30.Any other place on a friday night would require a reservation,but this place is rightly crowded and ample place.I would not say that the place is posh ,but for a couple liek us who get very little time to... read more -

Enjoyed the jowar roti meals 2009-05-26
We went for the special meals (Rs 130) which includes a chilli bajji, sweet and fruit salad ice cream (regular is Rs 100 without these 3 items).
You get unlimited rotis, sambar, rasam, buttermilk with 3 side dishes. We liked the brinjal dish very much.
This is good stuff. -

Been 3 occasions.
The thali meal is sumptuous, i like their jola rotis served in abundence. I wasn't too impressed with their sambar for the rice serving, but overall left in good feeling of fullness all the while. -

Best South indian in Bangalore 2008-03-24
Hi All,
If you are south indian then you should be here atleast once.
Food quality is excellent, you would love to eat so much, that makes you feel servers serving food is very slow. :)
Food will cost around RS 60- 80, and they do not accept sodexo :(
If you north karnataka person then there will be one more food heaven on the fifth floor which i haven't tried many times... :( -
