  • Unique Concept. Love it! 2012-05-10

We discovered Infitea a year back and despite the distance factor, it is on top of our list every time. Their range of exotic tea flavors are a delight. I especially like the way a pot of tea is served with a tiny hour glass and a strainer.
Apart from the tea, the food and service deserve a mention too. I have been here on 6 different occasions and have liked everything that we ordered.

  • Great! 2012-04-23

The darjeeling and earl grey we ordered were fantastic, the iced teas not so much. Service was good, though they seemed a bit rushed. Sandwich was good and the prawn thermidor (for which, we noticed, they have been awarded) was yummy and artery clogging - perfect for a lazy sunday!

  • Great Food, Bad Service 2012-04-21

We frequent this place - great place for continental food. The Italian cuisine is done to perfection and the choice of teas are amazing. The only aspect lacking is the service - there are usually only 2 waiters around (busy and least interested in serving customers) and they often end up forgetting the orders or delaying quite a bit.

  • Atrocious pricing of food and tea 2012-04-10

Gaurav, value might be a relative term but money is not.

I was buying Assam CTC tea from you for the last few years. I noticed that even though shops in other parts of the city kept their prices at the same level, you were the only one who increased it through the time. And now I have discovered a place in Banashankari 2nd stage who sells the same tea powder at 3/4th of your price!!

Not only the price of the tea powder/leaves, even the tea and food you serve has seen a huge increase in prices. From what I remember of the times I was visiting your place, a plate of samosa

    Thindi,

Samosas were 60 - nine years ago when we launched.

Tea prices are increased every 2-3 years depending on input costs. They will keep going up much like everything else in the world.

Thanks for all your inputs and feedback.

    Gaurav,

You have the prerogative to price your products the way you want. No objections. But dont bring in the value perception into the discussion. Talking about the same samosas which you say were priced at 60 nine years ago, here is a piece of information. K C Das even today sells its samosas at Rs.10-Rs.12 a piece. Now that is called value. Mind you, I am not comparing a hole in the wall shop to your place. K C Das also has its shop in a prime location, their interiors are on par or better than yours but the prices are lower than yours!!!

But take heart in the fact you...read more

  • Not value for money 2012-04-09

Went here some days ago. The ambiance was fine. I ordered a plate of samosa and an apple tea. The cost of the plate of samosa was mentioned as 140rs so I thought there must be really something special. When the plate came I was shocked. The 4 samosas were so small in size...half that of what you get on general shops. I thought anyways the taste must be really wonderful but I was dissapointed with the first bite. The filling was of normal aloo masala and less tasty than those at a halwai shop.

Now coming to apple tea, it was just fine. Nothing so great about it to be written about.

Thanks for taking the time out to post your feedback and opinions. Value is a relative concept and I think we are fair in our prices and dealings. However, no one can please everyone, so thanks for at least visiting us the one time. Take care.

  • Lovely flower tea 2012-04-05

Went to Infinitea recently in the evening with a friend. Their flower teas were super yumm, light, fragrant, delicious. Also tried their nachos which were also great! However the dessert was very strictly so-so. Overall a great experience and I would defi go back for more of their teas! In fact bought a few of the flowers to enjoy at home!

  • Chai ahoy!! 2012-03-29

I finally got around to trying this quaint place. Had heard quite a bit about it from friends. I loved the posters up on the wall. Especially the ones with the Mad Hatter's tea party. Ooh and also the the paper cut lampshades. The designer in me was soopah thrilled!!! Coming to the tea. Loved everything about it, from the way the tea was infused, to the hourglass placed to time it and of course the flavour. I had ordered fish with some lemon sauce on the side to go with the tea. Must say that it was first time I actually enjoyed fish in lemon sauce in Bangalore. All in all a very enjoyable experien... read more

  • Best tea lounge! 2012-03-15

Haven't been here for quite some time. Finally,I decided to meet my friend here who, in fact, has never been here. When we arrived the place was packed but we managed to get a table in 2 minutes. So, we started off with tea and it was, undoubtedly, good. Moved on to the Jalapeno nuggets, it was definitely melt-in-the-mouth and had my friend wishing that she had discovered this tea lounge earlier. I was good to order another plate of nuggets but the lady was a little concerned about how she would have to spend another 45 minutes in the gym!! Moved on to the main course. I chose the Mediterranean... read more

  • tea, pasta and cheese cake 2012-03-15

have been to this lazy, casual and freindly places sevaral times for lunch and dinner. The best thing I like about this place is that they never try to force you in a small table, they let even a single person sit on a table for 6 if no small tables are free.
The waitors are friendly, though dont do much of suggesting, as the menu gives a pretty clear idea of the dishes.
Teas are always a must try here, they have a huge variety to choose from.
I simply love thier pastas, their appetizers have been mostly disappointing especially the momo.
one thing you should never miss out infinite

  • Tea Time 2012-03-12

The aroma house....!! As soon as one enters the Cafe....the authentic look makes you happy. Tea all of different kinds. The Cafe people are good guides to what your taste is. They offer us variety of teas.
Each kind of tea is served in different fashion. I had tasted one with a strawberry. The tea is served in a teapot and it comes with a hourglass. Once the hourglass empties down, the tea is served.
Food is a bit over priced. But the awesome tea ompensates for everything.
