Agreed, it isn't the same as the old place, the nice view of MG Road the high roof and the old pillars are gone, and I hate the people who took away the old building!
However, the coffee is still the same...awesome! The waiters are still the same great waiter, awesome dosa, killer egg (how ever you take it) and same tables.
It i a bit cramped, but the new location gives it a little something else. The huge glass windows, give you nice view of the Church Street, people watching enhanced :D
The entrance has a lot of greenary, and you kind of feel like you getting away from the hustle bustle of Church street, which has a different feel to it.
Honestly, it doesn't feel like the old India House, but it still feels great!
