Have been here for a number of time and this place never ever disappoints. If I think of Chinese, I know where to go :).. Its quite cheap and has friendly staff. -

The food at Green Onion is great. Tasty and Good value for money. However I feel the food is a little extra spicy which im sure can be taken care of. Great job well done !! Thumbs up -

Been to this place a couple of times and it surprises me that they serve such good Chinese food and so reasonably priced. The service is not that great but to me the food makes up for that!! -

food is good everything is tasty... two of us went had proper food soup, appetizer and main course n d bill came upto only 300 bucks can't find a place so cheap in that area.... a great place to go when u r kinda broke :-p
been there once but sure to go back again... -

This place is real value for money. Five of us had a full course meal (sans dessert). All of us had the opinion that the taste was good, quantity reasonable and price also reasonable. Very rare to find a place like this around Residency road. -

Student life is often defined by good food and a perpetual paucity of funds. For such true believers of the Student faith, Green Onion is THE place. It is by far, the most moderately priced Chinese restaurant and the food is really decent for the prices they offer.
Green Onion to us means that one joint which is guaranteed to leave you satisfied when you have hardly any moolah and a lot of hunger.
Dont miss: Butter garlic noodles, bamboo shoots and broccoli cury and wanton soup. (all for around 200 only) hehehe... -

the typical msg/corn flour fare... but let me tell somehow these guys do a pretty decent job of it... and i second what the housemafia said the service is pathetic! you wouldnt wanna hang around much... just eat and get the hell out of there... go there for cheap but decent n palatable food...its a 2.5 stars max. -

The food is really tasty, no matter what you order. But the service is pathetic!! I had one of the worst experiences here, I almost wanted to punch the manager's face :). It took them more than 30 mins to make a lime soda and more than 1 hour to get a starter after repeated request. There were lot of confusion and arguments at the other tables too. It was bad experience. But the previous time when I went was much better. Avoid going here on weekends as it is over crowded and lot of confusions. Over all – The Management is useless but not the Chef. -
