  • That's okay, we still love you.

  • Cringing, craving, bingeing, braving... you always have an opinion on what's hot and what's not in your city and we just love to hear it. Besides, there's no better place to satiate that itch to bitch!

  • Nice, a bit on the expensive side though 2009-01-16

Banglore has a few good options for Italian food, and Giancarlo is certainly up there. The food is good, and the portions are just about OK. We had a creamy risotto and veg pizza with a tomato stuffed with mushroom as a starter. No complaints about the food, though I would not call it mind blowing. But a meal for four did set us back by around 4K which is quite on the expensive side. Would I go back? Well maybe in a years' time or for a really special occasion...

  • Really good Italian? Check! 2009-01-15

Dinner at Giancarlos was a happy accident on route to Sunnys for dinner one weeknight. I call it an accident because despite being quite a regular at the CCD (super location, same styrofoam experience) right below this restuarant, I hadn't noticed it until my friend suggested we get dinner there. • Sinfully expensive 2008-11-25

As the other reviews have mentioned, the food is good and really authentic Italian. And not just pasta and pizza -- real variety.

But the drink prices are astounding, and don't even bother with wine.

If the company is paying, maybe I will go back. If not, I can manage with my own Italian dishes made at home and go out for something more challenging to prepare...

  • Will love this place 2008-10-05

This actually had the best (Italian) food in Bangalore. Try the San Daniele Pizza and you'll know. The food is fair priced, the wines are not - more than double the price than what you'll get for the same wine in 5* hotels. Service charge is added automatically so there is no way to reward/punish good/bad service. No feedback forms.
But boy, good food. Beats Olive Beach hands down and even It-alia on food quality (doesnt beat IT-alia on price/performance because of inflated wine prices).
