Lamb Chops is a must have! Mar 30, 2013

UB city is a brilliant landmark and one always wants to know what is there in it, but usually reluctant to get in assuming the prices of the stuff available.

But then, I happen to be lucky enough of being treated for lunch at a place of my choice. And yes, I opted for Fava :)

We reached there at around 4PM (kinda late for lunch, I know) and quite obviously, we were out of options. Then Kishen Kumar, a waiter, came to our table to help us out. Gave us our menu cards and I decided to take "Lamb Chops" and a "Tiramisu".

Fava has an absolutely amazing lunch buffet which is pretty much the only time i find the place worth a visit. The food is not really bad otherwise its just that the buffet experience is something i enjoyed way more than the alacarte dinner i had there. The buffet is basically a soup, salad, starters and desserts with a choice of one main that they serve at your table its the perfect light lunch amidst a working day and if you love Lebanese food the mezze platters here are amazing. So it was my birthday yesterday and I had to take my friends out for a nice dinner with wine and I chose Fava after a lot of deliberation having heard a lot of great reviews about this place in Bombay. And oh boy! What a fantastic dining experience it was. We had a lovely table with a beautiful chilled breeze and light Jazz.
