I used to love eating at EmGee's. I've been going there for over a year. They used to have good food at decent prices.
Unfortunately, EmGee's is in a state of decay. The food is getting more and more expensive, but the quality continues to decline gradually. The ambiance is also getting poorer. The furniture is way overdue for repair: foam and sponge peep out at you from where the upholstery has worn out. The washrooms are stinky, and the air-conditioning needs an overhaul.
The service was and still is impeccable, thankfully. But this is perhaps the only redeeming feature of a place that doesn't have much else going for it now. Alas!
If I was in the vicinity, I might drop by EmGee's for a Masala Chai, Chilly Cheese Toast , Neer Dosa, or Dal Khichdi (all of which are still pretty good). But there are far better options available, and it's getting harder to be loyal to this once-superb restaurant.
