Good Food but The worst Service ever 2012-04-25
Good food, Privacy, Reasonable rate, Calm and peaceful ambiance- This Place has got the ingredients for a good get2gether place...but trust me, this is the place were you will get the worst service of your life time. Infact I went there with my friends gang of 12 a month before. The seats reserved by us a day in advance in person was unavailable and we had to wait 15 mnts. There was no one to take the order or to serve even after repeatedly telling the crew there. Not even for serving water. The food was realy good and delicious. Food is excellent and tasty if you are looking for Andhra Style preparation, but premises not up to mark, restaurant people has to think of keep premises clean, there are so many mosquitoes and rats and cats moves around you. it disturbs a lot. any how makes u feel that u are in village/jungle/dirty place :(

This is a good place if you want to sit in the open air tables. The food is good. The service could be better. Nice place if you want to go out as a group and have fun. -

Eden Park continues to be a favourite watering hole in these parts of the city. However, I must admit that the crowd that comes here are a bit different than the ones that frequent other bar-restaurants in the MG Road area
Eden Park is at least a decade old if not more and is a haunt of middle-aged men who like to dine ( drink, actually) in a cosy, open-air set-up
During my college days, however, it was known more as a place that served close to authentic Andhra food with the best Andhra veg thali in town.

oh, how i love this place! how much i have fantasized eating here for the four years that i was out of the country! i loooove the andhra meals here, especially on the days that the pallya of the day is the bitter-gourd-channa-deliciousness!
i always ask for gongura and the black chutney powder (coz they have a few containers floating around, so you have to ask for it to be brought to you, else you may miss it). i carefully construct each bite with the precision of an aircraft engineer: rice mixed with ghee and gunpowder, 2 drops soppu-saaru, two tiny chunks from the pallya pile, smatteri... read more -

The Good:
- Open air dining with widely spaced tables
- Paisa vasool food and drink
- Gorge-worthy starters
The Bad:
- Service quality resembles that of Indian Airlines
- Drinks limited to the bottom end
Go For It:
- If you're a large group bent on gorging and getting tanked up. This is not a place for moderation
Avoid:
- If you want a candlelight dinner for two
- If you're choosy about your drink -

Simple and yummy Andhra food 2008-09-30
The restaurant is tucked in the middle of a beautiful garden, which is breath of fresh air as soon as you enter the place. It's divided into two sections - one with simple chairs and tables and another with more fancy sitting - prices are same at both I think.
Th place is non-fussy, and serves simple Andra food, which is simply mouth-watering. You can order cold-drinks etc. to go with your meal. The place, though packed with working people on weekdays, has a lot of space!
You can simply hang around in the gaden with a dessert after the meal! -

Eden Park is always packed. They have the seating at the Garden as well as in the Hall.
I had Chicken Biriyani over there. It's Kachhi Biriyani or the Hyderabadi Biriyani. Chicken was well cooked. The Rice was too spicy, impossible to eat without the stabilizer aka. raita.
I found out more of whole spices out of the rice than Chicken. Very reasonably priced. -

Best Andhra food in town 2007-08-03
Tucked in a quiet lane behind Hotel Harsha, this place has the best Andhra meals in town.
The food is not over spiced like the Nagarjunas and Amaravathis and Bheemas of Bangalore, very attentive service, and wholesome experience.
They have an outdoor garden with a bar attached that serves North Indian and Indian Chinese food which is ok. Nothing to write about.
The place has a bunch of rides that are a hit with the 1 to 4yr olds, and a bumper car ride for the not so young.

ONE of the best biryanis ever! 2007-02-04
yup its true, Eden Park serves one of the best plates of hyderabadi biryani [about Rs.60] that i have had in the city, the chicken is soft and tender and the rice is richly flavored.
However also bewarned that EP is rather inconsistent with its biryani.
Meals [Rs.60 approx] are great value for money, and some of the chicken dishes like Chilly chicken and pepper chicken are worth the money.
North Indian fare is yet to be reviewed -
