Eden Park continues to be a favourite watering hole in these parts of the city. However, I must admit that the crowd that comes here are a bit different than the ones that frequent other bar-restaurants in the MG Road area
Eden Park is at least a decade old if not more and is a haunt of middle-aged men who like to dine ( drink, actually) in a cosy, open-air set-up
During my college days, however, it was known more as a place that served close to authentic Andhra food with the best Andhra veg thali in town.
It visited this place around two months back with some ex-colleagues of mine. They seem to be more aware of the place's current avatar. And the drinks are pretty reasonably priced.
The finger-food served here leave a lot to be desired. we tried the chilly chicken, the french fries and the peanut masala and none of them were worthy of a place with Eden's reputation ( albeit, past) It is best that one sticks to the drinks.
