Decent food at a decent price.... 2011-11-03
Had been to this restaurant this Tuesday. Of course, going by the reviews I was mentally prepared for a poor service. But to my surprise the service was not that bad at all. Of course there were some flaws but one guy managing four tables including taking the order and serving the food is actually worth appreciating than complaining. I had five starters, one chicken curry and akki rotis with some soft drink and the bill came up to only 700+ which I feel is very decent, that too for non-vegetarian food. Nice! 2011-10-21
I visited the place twice. Once with a friend and the 2nd time with my family. The rice rotis were nice, Pork out of the world and surprisingly for the restaurant, the potato side dish ( it was sort of strips fried, not french fries) for my vegetarian cousin was awesome! in fact we non veg guys finished most of it.
I guess they must ensure consistency in the quality of food and service ( Reading the previous reviews) to stay in the business. If they served like they did when we went twice, they will for sure!

Poor service 2011-08-21
for the love of pandi curry - we went to Coorg, kormangala. We waited for 20 minutes to catch hold of anyone to place the order. Then finally someone takes the order. Another 20 mins of waiting - very frustrating. No food yet! Then another person comes back and takes the order for the 2nd time! so all in all we took about 40 - 50 mins to get the PANDI curry.. which was not even as great. I guess i lost my appetite with the waiting.
So not a great experience at all. -

No Coorg in Coorg! 2011-03-24
Visited this restaurant around 9pm on two different occasions since I thought the place had to be given a second chance. Undoubtedly the second visit was worse than the first. The cashier who doubles up as the waiter and I guess also as the cook (evidently understaffed) was half the time outside the restaurant premises on his mobile phone and we had to wait till he finished his call for the menu card to arrive which was well into 15 minutes at the table.

Just Ok.....wondering if it needs a second chance 2011-03-21
I am still not sure if I did the right thing. Was it worth the time and effort? After a hectic morning schedule, we decided it was going to be Coorg @ Koramangala to put our hunger to rest. Going by the review that was carried in a newspaper, I was really looking forward to some authentic Coorgi fare.
We reached there at exactly 1pm. What welcomed us was a small restaurant up a narrow stairway, just opposite Corner House and Sweet Chariot in Koramangala. The decor is simple and no fuss. Its a really small place big enough for around 20 pple. The staff seems incompetent as they take a long time for anything. The waiter served the dishes without giving us plates to eat in and i had to ask for everything including napkins,water -refill etc.. We ordered around 4 dishes out of which one was gud i.e. the chilly pork ... The pork curry on the other hand tasted like they added chicken pieces to it...Its an mediocre place .nothing great . -

Coorgi food 2011-03-15
We visited the restaurant without any recommendations or reading any reviews. The place is simple and has no airs of any fine dining restaurant. The food however surpassed our expectations. The pepper mutton and the chicken combo curry with akki roti were excellent. We had stepped in for a quick snack, but pretty much ended up eating an entire meal. The pepper mutton was authentic Coorgi. I surely will recommend this place for good Coorgi food and reasonable prices. Really, Nothing Coorg about it.
they only have 10 items on Menu and of that 2 are coorgi.
Service is pathetic and food average.
Avoidable place ! -
