Perfect to eat mangalore food in center city 2011-06-24
Been there with 3 more guests for dinner , we went to the top floor where smoking is allowed so that was good for the guests who smoke
The menu is elaborate with Chinese and other regular items , but we focused on the Manglorean delicacies.

Amazing food. Squid Chilly is just out of the world. The alcohol is pricy but the taste compensates for that. Ghee Roast is good but the best was the Shetty's Lunch Home in Kundapur. Ghee Roast in Coastal Express comes a distant second. Service is nice on the whole. Overall a good place to go when you want good fish / squid. It's not very crowded over the weekday which is what i truly love & it;s a nice place to wind down with my wife. -

To get the real flavor of the place, one should go there after 9 pm, when all the slightly suspect crowd starts arriving :) Men dressed in white shirt, white pants, white shoes, a one kg gold bracelet on the wrist and a two kg gold chain that looks like the anchor chain of a minor oil tanker around the neck throng the place. You will also have women dressed in equivalent quantities of gold, wearing fancy sarees sitting with their husbands sipping lemon juice, while their better, or worse, half sips the darker, more sinful beverage. I had been to this place on the recommendation of a friend,and I was more than satisfied.
The Chicken Ghee Roast is amazing.........
The taste,spices,smell and the preparation is such that once you start eating one can't just stop.
The taste is such once has eat to experience the feeling once gets having really great tasty food
Even other items are good here.
But Ghee roast is ultimate................ -
