  • Avoidable 2011-02-04

Both the service and food are bad here. The Chinese food tastes a little better than a darshini. The Chicken chopsuey is pathetic along with the Chilli Chicken. The only saving grace for this surviving restaurant is the egg fried rice. The chungs near the Jayadeva Flyover serves much better fare than this place

  • Pretty good food at a decent price 2010-11-01

Went here during lunch time. Found a table and ordered Veg. Spring Rolls and Veg. Manchow Soup as appetizers. It was very good, especially the Spring Rolls. For the main course, ordered a Egg Malaysian Noodles (the name starts with 'K' , forgot the exact name), but the taste was very good. Loved it. Dessert was Choco Roll which was very average to say. The main disadvantage is that the place is very small. Gets filled up pretty quickly. But the food quality is good and the price is also pretty cheap. 300-400 bucks for 2 people.

  • Lousy service, rotten food 2010-07-10

I ordered veg noodles and gobi manchurian - home delivery. The person who took my order assured me that I would get it within 45 minutes. One and a half hour (and four tel calls) later, the boy arrived with cold NON VEG NOODLES and gobi manchurian. I had to pick out pieces of chicken before I ate cold horrible food. This place is a nightmare: never order food from here!

  • Horrible experience 2009-09-18

6 of us went here for a late lunch. The waiters kept giving us dirty looks. We felt like we were imposing on them! Food was average and to top it all,all 6 of us had food poisoning the next day.Save yourselves a trip to the doc and stay away from this place! Go to Beijing Bites instead. Better food and ambience.

  • Good food, great price! 2009-08-01

If you are fond of Chinese cuisine and want it at an affordable price, Chungs at Jayanagar is the place to go to. This restaurant is not so swanky but serves good food.

The menu offers a plethora of Chinese delights. 'Drums of heaven', a deep fried chicken lollipop eaten with garlic sauce is a good pick. But the best is 'Dragon roll' a deep fried dumpling filled with chicken stuffing.
For vegetarians 'Thai baby corn fried' is a good appetizer. If spicy noodles are what you are looking for, go for 'Szechwan noodles' be it veg or non veg, both are a treat to taste buds.

  • Nothing special 2008-12-22

This one in the 3rd block, is existing for many years now. Food is ok, but the main issue here is they don’t have a wash room. Forget the loos, they neither have a place to wash our hands. One would never get a change to find proper ventilation either. At times, the smell of non-veg food spreads through out giving a tough time to the vegetarians.
As far as the food is concerned, its tastes lot better unlike the ambience and the facilities. Fried wantons, chilly babycorn, chopsueys and the rice noocles are something you could try and be satisfied with. The Malaysian noodle is something that
