  • Good food....good ambience 2011-11-17

I came here for a team lunch in a group of 8. We went for the buffet. To begin with
Appetizers.....both veg and non veg were not upto the mark
Starters.......Both chicken and veg starters were excellent
Main course... Lamb curry, Chicken, Baked fish.....very sad that no other fish item was on offer...noodles were a bit oily.
Desserts.....fruit salad, cheese cakes, ice cream, dry fruit cake and pudding
The buffet cost us 300+ each. Overall ambience and service was gud.

  • The weekday buffet!! 2011-06-30

‘Three times and counting’. Over the past two months or so this is my third visit here and the weekday lunch buffet has kept me coming back for more. Reason? The quality and choice of the dishes have been consistently good over all the visits.

I started with the (non-veg) soup which was one of my favorites. The lemon chicken soup had the perfect mix of salt, pepper and lemon with bits of celery and chicken. This went perfectly with the soft fresh dinner rolls.

Next up, the appetizers! They sure have a good choice for both the vegetarians and the non-vegetarians. I went on to have

  • And you call yourself seafood restaurant? 2011-03-23

Last week, my girlfriend and I decided to go for diner in Indira Nagar. We were looking for something different than usual, and a place called Catch Marine seemed to be the perfect place to find some delights from the sea...

The venue was nice, the marine theme was declined in a lot of ways. A waiter came and offered us to seat on comfy blue leather seats.

We were proposed some drinks to start with, so my girlfriend opted for a Strawberry and Lychee Mocktail I went for a Caipiroska.

While the bartender was preparing our drinks, we started cheking the menu out... lot

  • Reasonable Rate 2011-01-23

Price is just right for the buffet lunch. Just curious about the name, since there's no seafood item on the table.
I hope next time, they'll consider replacing other dishes with some fish/prawn items.

  • Confusing 2011-01-05

The most confusing buffet spread Iv ever come across. Fish in tomato gravy, chicken biryani, haryali chicken kabab, spicy chicken wings, pasta and caesar salad.

Not a single dish complimented the other.

I hope some serious thought is given to this, as over all, the food is quite tasty. Buffets are meant to have a few dishes that compliment each other. I felt I was attending a food tasting session.

  • Pathetic food!!! 2010-12-04

One of my friend suggested this place. Oh My God!!!! such a pathetic food.. i had been to dinner and it was alacarte...i ordered for Squid and some others fish item... It was stinking like hell as if the food was kept in the fridge for a few days...i did tell them the food is pathetic, they didnt seem to care about that other than saying "oh" even though service was good.

It is very expensive, doesnt worth a single penny we spend... pls dont try this one..

  • cool place 2010-08-24

i stay in Indira nagar and have the convenience of visiting Catch Marine very often. the name of the restaurant can be misleading but by now i understand their concept. they have chicken and veg and everything. their buffet lunch is good value for money. (dont go expecting crabs/prawns/lobsters on buffet too). Dinner menu is elaborate and their european dishes are prepared well. Service is friendly and waiting time for food order is around 20 mins. Will cost around Rs 600 per person though.
