  • Just Average 2012-05-13

Came here today (Sunday) at around 4 p.m. Ordered roast pepper chicken pizza (medium size) and paspuccio (coffee). Pizza (Rs.210) was ordinary but coffee tasted just like filter coffee (not to my liking) and quite expensive (Rs.120).

Ambiance is good, nice background music. Service is just okay. Price (Rs.330 + service charge) = Rs.347. Can try once..........

  • Fire Wood Pizza's :( 2012-04-22

I was searching for a Pizza joint and found this amazing looking place - Firewood Pizzas.

Went in the Ambiance was fantastic. Good music and pretty clean.

However, the Pizza's are only thin crust and more like over cooked roti's.

The cheese did not appear to smell good.

Starters costed a lot but a plan of baby corn fingers came with 4 to 5 small pieces.

No Coke - the nearest alternative was Black Coffee soda - which was horrible.

I would never visit this place again.

There is no handwash area at all.

    Regards
    S Mudbid

  • Big Let down at JP Nagar 2011-12-18

    Hello All,
Had been to Cafe Pascucci. Actually I didnt know that it was Cafe Pascucci... I was enticed by the Wood Fire Pizza :-(

Had ordered a Zuchini Pizza and Pasta (Cant remember the flavor).

    First the good :
    a) No tax... only service charge (5%).
    b) The pasta was eatable. The pasta was a fusilli and was laced with cheese sauce of some kind with some veggies. It was palatable.
Though it was not cheap 150+ per plate. The serving were fairly small (2 cannot share).

    Bad / Worse / Worst :
    a) The pizza was awful. They supposedly serve thin

  • A good discovery 2011-07-08

Like the fellow burr per, we chanced upon this place through some food coupons. Must accept, what a discovery it was....indeed a pleasant one.
With some lovely food to offer, Cafe Pascussi is a must try.
Some of the items we tried,
Pizza ortellano ( wonder if I have spelt it right), slimmers pizza, pasta floretine( an absolute delight), yummy coffee and vanilla ice creams, sinful and heavenly walnut tart.
The tart I must accept was just too good.
The menu Is pretty exhaustive especially the variety coffees. Plan to try it out the next time around.
In all, this place is worth

  • Refreshingly good 2011-06-16

We went to this restaurant armed with a group buying voucher and were wondering what to expect. It was quite late in the evening and we were more inclined to have a proper meal rather than coffee after a long day's work. Also, since this place claimed that they prepare pizzas on a wood fire. Unfortunately this place does not have a description of the dishes, with their Italian names. We were wondering how we could order a pizza without knowing its ingredients, when a Manager came up and answered our queries crisp and clear - going against the stereotype of a north-eastern waiter! So we could make... read more

  • Coffee galore 2011-03-28

A huge variety of coffee and its derivatives. Every imaginable coffee variant, cold coffee variant and they make something akin to a sort of dessert like cold coffee. I'm not a coffee aficionado myself. What I like here instead are the munchies and nibbles. They have a very good bruschetta and crostini, served with a cold salad. They have salads and sandwiches. What's more one can pick the kind of bread they want and the filling for the sandwiches. The piece de resistance are the pizzas. Thin crust and scrumptious, they are baked fresh in a wood burning over and done to perfection. My personal... read more
