  • Not bad but not great 2010-09-06

After reading up here, decided to check it out last weekend.
Menu is decent - some new items not typically seen in mid eastern joints.
Ordered a Fattoush, a Lebanese chicken sandwich and a Mint Lime drink. The Fattoush was just a cucumber tomato salad. Too highly priced for such a basic item. The sandwich was your regular sandwich with the shawarma chicken filling. The qty was good and the chicken was better in a shawarma. Nothing great but not bad. The mayo dressing was awesome though.
The mint lemonade was really good. Very heavy on the mint and not too sweet.
    Will go there

  • Whats the fuss? 2010-07-23

Read the great reviews and was very excited to try it out. But once I did, I left asking whats the fuss all about?? The basic of the basic, hummus had a bitter after taste, the pita bread was rubbery and the fattoush was just cucumber in a vinegar dressing..A tad over-hyped I think.

  • Some Authentic Arabic 2010-07-08

My friend and I caught up recently to spend long hours. We went to Bangalore Central Mall in Jayangar and browsed through certain stuffs. Not very keen on shopping that day, we went straight to the food court. My friend badly wanted to eat some chaat and while he was ordering for the same, I noticed, Bistro Grill Express was in the food court too. I don’t know why I always assumed it to be a restaurant here. My friend seemed to have more knowledge on Arabic food than me. The credit goes to the amount of travel he does. He wanted to check on the authenticity of the food here. We ordered a Falafel... read more

So very close to my place, left home & reached thr..
Was expecting a restaurant, nice ambiance but whr ws I, amid the food court of a mall..:(

BUT what underlied was sumthin totally diffrent,
had Lebanese food after a long long time, DO TRY this ppl, - But all hands for NON- Vegans,
    -SHAWARMA, 3/5
    - Oriental CHIK salad, 4/5
    - Lebanese chiken (was more of a pizza thing) but THE BEST of the lot I had..

A bit xpensive eatery fr a food court but for a change of taste quite good, a group of 3-4 will cost about 200 each, quantity is ample in dishes
