Right at the start I am going to admit that this place is frightfully expensive but you'll know why when you taste the food. In my opinion, this place beats Oh Calcutta and ballygunj place hands down. The ilish and bhetki are to die for. In veg, the jhenge aaloo postho is unbeatable. For dessert, try the nolen gud misthi dohi. For the non-bengali speakers, that's sweet yogurt with liquid jaggery stuffing. A lavish meal for two will easily set you back by a thousand or more and you might have to wait outside for some time to get a table, but your taste buds will have a treat.
