    Au Bon Pon is a boston based bakery cafe. Best described as an urban cafe, serving the freshest breads teamed with hot piping Soups and Desserts. Avoid buying Pepsi or other aerated drinks though, you are charged double of what it is. All the products here are baked and the portions are sufficient. One is supposed to take a tray and pile it up with items of your choice. They have freshly baked muffins, the Cinnamon Raisins, Tiramisu, Dutch Chocolate Cakes, Farmhouse Roll and everything yummy.     Whats delectable: hot, mouthwatering veg soups.

    Quality of experience can be enhanced by providing:
    - ketchup, salt, pepper
    - some filtered water
    - warm, crusty sandwiches
    - variety of soups on regular basis

    Longway to go to replicate its legendary service, experience that is intuitively expected from this chain...

    We normally savor the crispy, warm, fresh sandwich of this chain at MG Road. However we must admit that it is tad disappointing on the following aspects at Malleswaram branch:
    - we didnt have the choice of the breads for the sandwich
    - sandwich is not crisp and warm leading to soggy experience
    - information can be made available, specially what is combo means , what does it entail etc

    Ambience: quite spacious, cozy nooks and comfy environment
    Service: good can be bit alert and proactive
    Overall just OK

    Au Bon Pain is a healthy alternative to fast food in the US. With fresh made panini's, salads, and soups it's a great place for a lunch break. The shop in Mantri Mall has the same look and feel as the shops in the US. Baked items are good but not spot on. Would like to see some more western food options from the original shops. The modified Indian menu is a little depressing when you are in the mood for something familiar and can't find it.
