First thing to note, this is not part of the Leela Palace Hotel, and not run by the Leela.
It is just another 'shop' inside the Leela Galleria, just like Amoeba Bowling or Huawei office. It is in a dingy -2 basement of the building.
The place has a pretty big dance floor with some nice music, which the good bit.
But that apart, everything else falls apart.
They have limited menu both on terms of food and drink - just some basic cocktails and finger food. At the time we went they had just 2 options in beer.
Veggies have even fewer options.
They have cover charge everyday, and not just on weekends - Rs.500 per person.
Here come the worst part:
1. It is mostly filled with men although they do advertise that it is couples / single ladies only.
2. Smoking - it is allowed inside the main dance floor and with limited ventilation, it gets pretty bad by the 23:30 deadline...a complete smoke chamber!
Ofcourse they didnt stop serving / playing music till 23:45.
The pricing is pretty steep although it is not up to the '5 star' service standards.
Would any day recommend the other louge discs inside stars hotels.
