I had been to Aroy's on a weekday and the place wasn't too packed. The ambiance is very nice and open in an other wise claustrophobic city!
We opted for a soup and a cocktail (As night falls). Both were very good and proportion of the soup was more than adequate for 2. The starters the followed and we opted for Golden basket with chicken. This is one of the best starters I've had in a while and thoroughly enjoyed it!
We were already full by now and for the final meal opted for Khow Tsuey which is a meal by itself. This dish is available in seafood, vegetarian and chicken options. We opted for the seafood option which had shrimp, fish and squids. The shrimp and squid weren't overcooked and rubber like - they were just tender and succulent.
I definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a nice evening at great place with awesome food!
