whats so grt about this place 2012-03-14
I have been hearing about this place since i first came to Bangalore....but not sure wat the hype is all about.....
0/10 on value for money
7.5/10 starters are gud
5/10 main course is ok
0/10 nthg in the name of dessert (wat vanila ice cream ,pedha and gulab jamun) -

Hi,
I and a group of friends had been there on a saturday evening. I had been there a year earlier & liked the lunch buffet..
ala carte is damn expensive. Even though we ordered platter, we found it to be very expensive. Waiters dont turn up to take order. I think they will beat coffee day as well. The waiters dont remember the orders correctly as well. 2 guys ordered beer & a lady among us ordered white rum. The waiter gets it after 30 min & almost made the lady drink beer. If they dont know who ordered what.. they can ask.. But the waiter comes & says.. mam your beer.. ridiculous!

Overpriced : not value for money 2012-01-12
Angeethi buffet lunch is good but I refrain u from going for Alacart as it would not value for Money. Yesterday I went along with 2 of my friends in Museum-inn building. You will wonder when u will see that prices of all items are exaggerated compared to other restaurant. For our dinner we got bill of around 2400.00 above this they charged 700 Rs extra in the name of VAT, Service Tax and others heads.
One normal butter milk will cost u 70 Rs/glass. Half plate tandoor (2 pieces) – 275. Papad : 60 Rs. single Roomali roti – 50 Rs.

The food is good, maybe my expectation was too high. Its dhaba kind of ambience with upmarket restaurant prices. Not bad though. -

Hello All,
Just had lunch at Angeethi and truly a burping experience…..!!
We were a team of 16 members, thanks to some of the burp peers who updated their experience. Let’s start from beginning....
This hotel belongs to BJN group and so the expectation level goes a notch higher with the name itself, parking experience was not bad we had valet parking.
It’s located on 4th floor, a terrace converted into dinning place nice cozy ambience with interiors replicating typical village of North India. It’s Friday and looks like some other foodies also had great plans... read more -

If you are on bike and dont have an car , please avoid this restaurant had been to this place with my office colleagues they don't have parking to top it all the guards and security are just damm arrogant and rude to you. When we go to the reception he too is just the same. Surprised that it belongs to BJN . The night mare does not end here we go up to the restaurant , its pathetic service and an lousy management , zero management zero service , worst experience of all
Even the road side stall people would behave properly that the staff at this place -

Angeethi - Dabaang Dhaba 2010-12-17
Khulla Dil is how i will describe the angeethi experience. Its not totally made dhaba style - they have chairs instead of charpais but still the overall look is just like a highway dhaba. You find large groups here in the afternoon.. maybe its because the buffet has so many items for both veg and non-vegetarians. Lots of salads to choose from and also there were yummy chaats.. dahi bhalla, papdi chaat and paani puri comparable to Mumbai Chowpatty definitely, i loved it.

Never visit this resturant if you are a Food Lover 2010-12-12
I had been very recently to this resturant as a part of our team building exercise at my office. This was for the first time, I was visiting this place and as usually had high expectations, as this is
resturant at a 3* hotel in the heart of the city, especially known for its eateries.
The only thing I liked about this entire place was the lobby of the hotel (I had walked quite a bit in the hot May sun to reach this restaurant, from the place I had parked my car) and the lobby provided me with some very cool air from the AC.

The Daaaaal bloody Makhni. Definitely , most definitely the best this city has to offer. My previous experience was a little okay types, but they just raised the counter people (along with the damn prices). Outstanding daal and Channa. Its a must must place to cater your craving for some punjaabi maal -

I n my colleague went to this place yesterday for lunch as it was on our hit list for a long time....firstly about ambience...it is some wat like a dhaba on the rooftop n i liked it.......now coming to the food....as they have only buffet...n i have heard a lot about their food so i was excited to taste the food, buffet spread was gud....but food didnt live up to my expectations and my colleague who generally likes food here didnt find it tasty either....service was gud.... but we would definitly go back n try out once again.... -
