Really awesome coffee! 2011-07-28
Of all the restaurants I have been to, Adyar Ananda Bhavan has the best coffee!! My ratings are solely bias on the coffee alone...Every time I go there or just pass A2B, I have like 2-3 cups of coffee. SUPERB!! Thick and Strong coffee...Just LOVE it...I also have had their snacks- jamuns, muruku, some mixture,mysore pak, cashew/fruit halwa and some other sweets and snacks that I do not remember...everything was awesome...fresh and tasty...not that expensive also...Do have their poli fresh, it is really good.. -

Diminishing qty of food... 2011-07-20
I visit this place very frequently. Sadly I do not have many options as this is the only decent (a/c and clean) restaurant close to my office. However I have a big problem with the quantity of the items being served at the place , which over the last 2 years is reducing by the day, specially so when you compare them against their prices. The quantity of their mini-tiffin and mini-meals, 2 items which probably sell the most, has reduced significantly over time, and its not like the price has remained constant. Happened to recently try the Mini Tiffin for breakfast. Twas excellent ... reminded me of the well known joints in Chennai.
Mini tiffin consists of one crispy masala dosa, one idli, one vada, pongal, kesribhath, 3 chutneys and sambar. And it comes at Rs.40/-. Tastes really good. Go give it a try Bangalore -
