    This place is very weird. Looks like tables and chairs were put in a small function hall and turned into a restaurant. You could give this place a sure miss. But the pudina chutney is brilliant. Thats all thats there to this place

    It was a good time once we enter into Aangan last week. Following are which you can try. The same things I had tried in the other restaurant a weeks back.

    Here are some dishes which you can try here,

    * Soup - Chicken Manchow (good one)
    * Starters - Tandoori Chicken
    * Main course - Chicken Biryani, Chicken/Paneer Tikka Masala

    good to visit some time as it is very cost effective and service is upto the mark..

    this is not representative of punjabi food. someone i know said this is the best punjabi food in blr - the guy ain't got a clue. the food is extremely oily & heavy. its not very tasty either. i spent the next couple of hours post dinner burrping away & woke up the next morning with acidity & heartburn. give me jalsa, punjabi times or even punjabi rasoi anytime over this.

  • It was a nightmare 3years back 2009-04-03

    I went to Aangan some 3 years back and before I could take a bite of the food on my table, I heard someone else in the restaurant yelling at the manager and waiter about how he was served roaches in his curry. The customer wasn't happy at all - he had ACTUALLY eaten some of the roaches and was showing the half chewed food to the staff. The staff wanted to hush him down and though the others in the restaurant heard the customer yell and scream about the roaches, they kept on eating silently. Not a single person took his side - it didn't seem to disgust anyone. Well, good for them i guess.

  • Decent Punjabi fare 2008-04-20

    Standard Punjabi food, nothing out of the ordinary. But the food does not disappoint. The fresh lime soda is awesome. Among the curries, I thought their 'Veg Bhurji' was great. On the whole, good value for money.

  • Can't love it, can't hate it... 2007-09-06

    The rather misleading placemats at 'Aangan' have this portly chef in pink cradling what looks like a delectable pot roast, even in caricature. Much inclined as you might be towards digging into something like that, what you will find here is standard Punjabi fare that doesn't really disappoint.

    They have a couple of good VFM thalis on offer - for both meat-eaters and the other kind. The non-veg thali has options in chicken, mutton and keema. The chicken thali has a chicken starter, chicken curry, a flavoured rice, a couple of tandoori rotis, dal, a veggie, regular rice, papad and a
